Eddie Bauer First Responder Discounts February 2023

Haven't bought EB in decades but found some nice looking $40 mittens online that promised to be warm for my skiing according to good reviews. Received timely and well packaged. So far so good. Appear very nice and good quality...till I wore them and washed them once. The gloved lining in mittens unsewed so my finger went through the glove part touching the lining...brrr. Tough to fix bc glove lining attached to mitt so it was hard to flip inside out for easy sew job. Repair did not work so I did an online chat to resolve this unsatisfactory buy. The chatter was personable but it was clear thatEnglish is not primary language which led to confusion and odd wording choices. One option, it seemed, (covid has eliminated returns) was to get a refund minus 20% -pay $8 to wear mittens once! I don't think so!). The chat was unclearly stating I could do the minus 20%.. or did it mean I'd get 20% off a new pair?? can't i just get a replacement? and would I have to pay shipping for a free replacement??? All very unclear. In the end it seems I'll get a replacement and hopefully there'll be no shipping fee. But between the unsolid craftsmanship and the poor use of English on the chat I doubt I'll order again. Mittens were really nice if they held together. Fingers crossed on new pair. I did associate EB with good quality from years past..the new mitts will be telling and hopefully hold up. Sooooo glad i saved myself headache of a phone call from the sounds of the reviews...chat was more tolerable. If the mittens didn't have an issue so soon I would've given them a 5 star.Update: I did receive an email same day with new order for new mittens. No charge, no shipping fee. The last pair came quickly so it's looking good- I'd have to say good customer service in this event.Final update: 3/15/21 Received new pair of mitts with zero charge, no shipping fee. I upgraded to 4 star bc i really like the mittens and customer service was very satisfactory. Would buy more products.A friend has EB winter multi layered jacket for about 5 years, wears all the time, looks beautiful, brand new and never an issue

I've purchased EB's clothing for decades. I'm old now and don't drive much, so I ordinarily place orders through their website. I'm offered free shipping because I place a number of orders during the year.I like the clothing, but shipping is frustrating. Takes them days, sometimes weeks to get an order out the door. I've tried paying extra for one of the faster shipping options. Still takes days or weeks before the company actually ships my order. (This was the case long before Covid issues.) If a garment isn't sized properly I drive to their Reno store. (The staff there is great by the way.) Customer Service is simply terrible; useless. They're either untruthful or incompetent and seem to say anything to get you off the phone. Have tried "chat," phone and email contact with Customer Service. Too many bad experiences to detail here. To bring this review full circle - I like the clothing, shipping is slow, and if I didn't have a store nearby I wouldn't purchase online.

Susan and Suzi (store 935 at Briargate in CO Springs) are a dynamite customer service team! My recent visit was early this Saturday. Although the day was getting busy quickly, they frequently checked on me and took the time to answer my product questions. It was evident that they wanted me to walk out of the store satisfied with my experience, whether or not I actually ended up buying anything. I knew I was not getting canned sales pitches as both ladies were honest about their own experiences with the products I was considering. In the end, I bought two coats I loved. These two ladies make my visit so pleasant and fun (there was a lot of laughing and joking about random things!) that I will enjoy my purchases that much better. On my way out of the store, I overheard Suzi helping another customer and smiled as she gave him the same above-and-beyond customer service I had received. I look forward to my next visit with these two at the helm! Thank you for employing such great staff; give these two a raise!

My family, all adults have been buying most of her clothes from Eddie Bauer. We love the quality of materials designs. Buying at the store when we cannot find an item the very kind Customerservice have ordered items right away and we receive them in perfect condition. We love Eddie Bauer clothes, sales & rewards. The only thing is We wish they would put their logo at the pocket, the rim or the bottom of the pants. We have some pants that have the logo in the front of the leg and it looks like a stain or something got stuck on them. Thank you.

EddieBauer.com is the only place I shop for clothes. The website makes it easy to shop online and gives detailed information on the sizing of each item. There are tons of search options and you can even search for just the items on sale. The clothes are comfortable, even the dress clothes. their t-shirts don't shrink or fade and I like the color selections, no matter the season. Their jeans and pants are the only ones that "fit right" and look flattering. I find that the other customers' reviews on their site are helpful and often give information about the actual fit of the item. The one time I had contact customer service and return an item went smoothly and I was promptly credited. I recommend this site for those looking for comfortable, fashionable and long lasting clothing.

Useful, practical and stylish coats, jackets, pants, shirts and blouses and other items such as sporks (combination of fork and spoon) and torches. The prices are reasonable and there are many sales. There is also a rewards program whereby one gets coupons by mail or email. They issue a rewards card, but if you forget to bring it, they can look it up in their computers. In addition, one can return any item at any time if one desires. This is a great company with great products!

This past year of 2018 I signed up on Eddie Bauer .com and placed two orders after the company sent me $5 certificates to spend. Then as Christmas passed they sent me a $15 certificate to spend since it was entitled WE MISS YOU. Being able to go to the Eddie Bauer Outlet store in southeastern Wisconsin, I was able to purchase a flannel shirt from the clearance section of the store and only paid less than $6 with tax. I can say that I love the selection of women's socks and the shirt is nice even if it does come from Sri Lanka.
