UPDATE: After posting this review, Laura (customer service manager) promptly reached out to apologize and address this issue. She was extremely understanding of my experience and refunded me for the full amount while on the phone. In addition, she has offered to go above and beyond to look into the replacement parts (in the rare event that they are available). While the overall experience was quite frustrating, I am very satisfied with the support that Laura provided. Had I spoken to her initially, I know that this situation would have been rectified right away.If you run into any issues with your Monoprice product, I would highly recommend discussing the issue with Laura and her team, as she will ensure it is handled in a prompt and professional manner.---------I wasted $304.84 on a defective product and want a refund. I purchased the "Stage Right by Monoprice Studio Workstation with Dual 3U Rack Bays and 61-key Keyboard Controller Tray" 2 weeks ago (11/29/21). The box arrived broken with damage to the desk. It was also missing several parts (plastic adapters needed to hold triad rods in place, etc.). It's impossible to assemble the desk without these pieces. I contacted support to request replacement parts by mail, and was informed that they will not ship individual parts. Monoprice refused to provide details about the name or dimensions of this part.The product is unusable and arrived defective, and I expected Monoprice to provide a full refund. Initially, customer support informed me that a refund was possible, but failed to disclose that they will only provide refunds or replacement if they receive the item back in perfect condition. The entire package arrived damaged. The original box is broken, and much of the original packaging was broken prior to arrival. Monoprice expects me to purchase replacement packaging and pay to return the item. This is a significant cost and burden, and Monoprice refuses to compensate me for these costs.I requested a claim 2 weeks ago and followed up via email 5 times in 1 week; all of my emails have been ignored. A claim was never opened and I have not received any support. I tried to write a review of my experience on the product page, and Monoprice blocked my negative review and will not allow me to post another. The company actively monitors reviews and blocks any negative experiences. Customer support refused to comment on this matter.I am very disappointed and frustrated by this experience. Monoprice should either refund me for the full cost or provide replacements for the missing parts; neither of which they are willing to do. They are ignoring my emails, refusing to open warranty claims, and removing my negative reviews from the product description. This is very misleading.

High-quality third party cables, reasonably priced!

The order I placed arrived within 10 business days. The quality of the Monoprice cables is noticeably better compared to other third party cable vendors. I really like the braided ones I ordered. The port connection to the phone is very sturdy, and it supports fast charging. I have been using the new cables for a few weeks now. No complains so far. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for replacement USB-C cables, it supports up to 3A/60W. Made the purchase when it was on sale, and it's worth more than what I paid for.

Worthless Shipping Info

The goods I ordered arrived and they were fine, but their shipping/tracking software is comically stupid, to the point of being more destructive than helpful.I ordered something a few weeks ago that was delayed (fine, it's the holidays), then on the morning of the 31st their web site told me it wouldn't arrive on the 30th or 31st (??? but fine), then I found it that morning outside of the door of my locked building (not fine). I then double-checked the tracking and it hadn't changed yet.I ordered another something earlier this week. After a short delay it told me it would arrive on Friday. I checked it Thursday and it said it would now be arriving next week. I walked through my mail room that afternoon and found it sitting there. Just double-checked the tracking site, still says it's projected to arrive next week.In both cases, their tracking page shows a map with icons on it as though it's going to give you real-time updates, it never updates.

I had a bit of a snafu with a desk I purchased. It's a bit of a long and boring story, but basically, there was something wrong, customer service wasn't able / willing to help me. Incredibly frustrated and ready to burn Monoprice to the ground, I found TrustPilot, where I saw this guy responding a lot and posting his escalations email address. Reached out, and he called me within the hour to make things right and beyond. Amazing. Unfortunately sometimes their customer service has their hands tied on what they can do (and understand about the business process). However, this experience made me appreciate Monoprice even more. I'd much rather spend money at businesses like this than Amazon. I never go on websites like Trustpilot and write reviews, but I felt compelled to let everyone know about my positive experience with Monoprice. Before you write a nasty review, make sure you try reaching out to escalations to see if they can help.

Ordered UCB-C to Lightning Cable, got Cat-5

I ordered a UCB-C to Lightning Cable. They sent me a cheap cat-5 cable. There is no phone support, no email support. I used the Chat Support and it took me 10 minutes to figure out how to take a picture of the wrong product, upload to a website, so they can see it.Update: they did reached out to me candidly, FedEx me two correct cables and did refund, which I did not bother to check for $10. I am updating from 1 star to 4 stars.

We bought 50 of their docks and they're frying our MacBook pros because of poor power specs. They won't return or refund. The same docks cause many issues with our Lenovo x1 carbons as well.After Monoprice saw this review on Trustpilot, they immediately got ahold of me and replaced the failed devices within days and resolved the problem. Disappointing that their support system didn't work and it took a Trustpilot review to get the help we needed. We're happy with their response after posting this review though.

Zero Customer Service

Monoprince customer service is horrible. I had cat 6 cable part of their recall. They sent the replacement cable to the wrong address, even though I had filled out the address on the recall form. They sent it out again, but ground, and taking over a week to arrive, too late for me to use in the project. Customer support never answers the phone, and when they do they take 24hrs to get back to you on anything. Best to avoid if possible.-- Update -- Finally was able to get ahold of the CS manager and was able to get a new roll shipped out in time. I do appreciate the time and effort he spent to reach out and resolve this issue. Upgrading to 3 stars because I feel there were so many errors up to that point.

Exchange Denied

Recently I purchased what I thought were charging cables for my Iphone 11 from Monoprice. I purchased the wrong charging cables, they were for the iphone 11+. Easy fix right? I can just exchange them for the right cables. After I sent a exchange request, I was sent an email saying my exchange request was "outside of our return policy" and Monoprice was canceling my request. There was a link to explain why, but the link was broken!? I have never used the cables and they are in the original packaging. I'm a long time customer and I think whatever Monoprice's return policy is, it sucks.UPDATE: Monoprice Customer Service Reached out to me and offered me a more than fair solution to my problem.

Costs you more to order on their website

Ordered an item from Monoprice. 10 minutes after ordering it, found out they were selling it at a lower price on their very own eBay store. Asked for a price adjustment, and they said they won't price match items on eBay. I understand that, if it were sold by someone else. But this is Monoprice selling the same item on eBay for less. Why bother to have a website, if you're going to sell the same item cheaper on eBay. Not a good way to treat customers. Just price your items on your website the same as your store on eBay, or get rid of your website and just sell on eBay.[Edit: After being contacted by Monoprice customer service, and having the problem resolved. I am adjusting my rating accordingly. Monoprice does offer good value for their merchandise; I was simply frustrated with their differences in pricing for the same item.

Great service and warranty replacement service!

I had a metal encased iPhone lightning cable go bad.
