Lack of initiative on communication

Ordered a bike some weeks ago. Should have been shipped out already. But without communication they postponed the order.It is understandable that they cannot deliver in time due to a shortage on parts and the current covid situation. But still I think it is not acceptable that they do not adhere to the promised delivery date and don't provide you an update.Let's see if they will adhere to the promise now...----------Kan helaas niet reageren op de reactie hier onder. Daar moet ik jullie deels gelijk in geven. Alhoewel in mijn account 1-10-2021 stond. Nevertheless... De vertraging was al bekend maar er is geen initiatief tot communicatie geweest.Bedankt voor de snelle reactie. Dit geeft in ieder geval wat meer inzicht in de situatie. Ik zal het gehele bovenstaande verhaal even updaten als alles binnen is. Voor nu een ster er bij.

Very good and warranty friendly company

The company and the bikes they make are great. They sent me the bike in a nice box that protected the bike. After some riding my seat was damaged and I wrote them.They answered in a day or two and had no problem with giving me a new seat (as a guarantee).Excellent and fair company!

Competent advice - insane freight costs

I was in need of a gear drop for my Rose DX Cross bike. unfortuneately I cannot source it locally, but have to contact Rose bike in Germany. I needed support from the Rose tech team as I couldn't find the right part on the home page. They were helpfull, so I got the right piece for the bike. The freight costs were very high: 10 EUR to ship a piece less than 20 gramms.

Took longer than hoped, but sorted my issue

I bought a Reveal 6 bike last year, which I've loved having and have had many happy days riding. Unfortunately the carbon frame developed a crack in the downtube, I assume due to a manufacturing issue. There was a bit of hassle getting the bike shipped back (Brexit blah blah) and it took awhile to get looked into and fixed, but hats off to Rose they replaced the frame and sent it back to me here in the UK, all under warranty. So I'm very grateful that they had sorted this for me with little fuss, all whilst we've had to deal with Covid and Brexit. Thanks Rose!

Pretty good customer service. Initially ordered and paid for a bike from them, but Canyon received stock for a similar spec'ed bike and I changed my mind in the process . Refund came a little late, because if you pay with credit card, you need to wait for your pending transaction to expire. ROSE personnel won't be able to speed up the process. It took about 3 weeks in my case.Overall, I think it is a reputable company. Some reviews here are definitely exaggerated in my opinion.

Probably you'll need to write couple of emails

The status of my order was misleading all the time, but I received the bike in 5 weeks instead of the expected 10. It arrived in the wrong color which I reported immediately and got a very generous offer as an apology. I guess the processes inside Rosebikes are a bit chaotic, but in the end, after several emails that addressed rather technical issues than the lack of customer service, I got what I wanted faster than expected. From my experience, I can recommend the store.

Can't understand the poor reviews on here

I ordered a new bike from Rose, knowing from the date of order that it would take 6-8 weeks for the bike to arrive.During that time I called their customer service team twice to make amendments to my bike specifications and both times received great customer service from individuals speaking their second language.The bike arrived within the delivery time frame, as described, in perfect condition and it rides like a dream.It can only lead me to believe that some reviewers are either impatient or didn't read the delivery times when ordering.The service was faultless and product is great quality. Highly recommend.

Activa Pro C12 = One Happy Man

After a long search over many months looking at different bike models and gear configurations I purchased a Rose Activa Pro Pinion C12 from Rose Bikes in Germany. Customising the design online and ordering was simple and quick, I could check on the orders progress online via my account - tracking info was sent to me once it was despatched and although at times communication via email was slow, it was never a problem. My overall experience of purchasing from Rose was positive. Having used the bike for a week now it certainly lives upto my expectations and is a dream to ride on the less then perfect rural roads in Somerset and Dorset. The Pinion C12 gear box takes a little getting used to but this is more down to the fact that I've never used a grip shift before but within a few days its no problem at all. The build quality and design is very good - I'm a very happy customer and would definitely use them again.Thank you Rose.

Long delay to get a bike, but it deserve it !

Finally the bike was delivered, after almost 6 months to wait.I won't evaluate the service, but the bike is really crazy good ! Fast, comfy and responsive !Congrats team.

Service and Customer Service Review

So i bought my bike from Rose 9month ago, it arrived in the specified time, so all good.Unfortunately it had scratches from transport so i reported that to Rose and got offered a voucher plus also the needed paint to fix. Perfect i would say for me. After 8 month the derailleur stopped shifting unregularly and no shop could figure out why or fix. SRAM send me to Rose for fixing, checking. Now here is why only four stars. It took Rose 4weeks and several escalations fro my side to even respond at all. That was poor service.In the end the shipped me a new derailleur and took the old one back so happy customer in the end. If next t time i get a feedback in a normal time span without having to escalate i would say 5 stars
