Ouch! Some of the reviews here are outstandingly negative! Well, hopefully my thoughts can provide some counter insight into how beautiful potterybarn.com is. The number 1 factor for me is the photographs. High resolution, detailed photographs with lots of interesting features, help me figure out what I'm looking for in home furnishings, as well as other options for complementary decor. Yes, they are expensive, but you really do get what you pay for with this company. It's the same as Williams Sonoma (in fact, I believe they are owned by the same people). Beautiful products and fantastic customer service, both online and in stores. The navigation menu makes it easy to find exactly what you want, and the extra features such as the Tips & Ideas section give you all kinds of fun ideas for how to tie different rooms together, how to decorate for the holidays, paint colors, hospitality, style guides, etc. I could spend hours on this site and enjoy every second.

Pottery Barn has the best customer service EVER! We bought lighting and it went on sale and they credited it back to me on a store credit. The woman, Johanna, was incredibly sweet and helpful! Great quality stuff and great customer service as always!

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the Pottery Barn Social Media Customer Service Team reached out to me. They are working to resolve this issue in a very satisfactory manner. Their attention and follow-up has been great. My Rep deserves 5 stars but I only gave this review 4 because Pottery Barn needs to do more front line training to avoid customers getting to the point of posting bad reviews.

My wife missed a sale and called them and they helped her get those same items and a pretty discounted price. When an item came slightly defective, they went above and beyond by giving us another discount. It seems like every time we call for some information or for some help they are going above and beyond and helping us. I had read horrible reviews but it's nice to know that it seems like they've shaken things up

Our order was delayed 3 more weeks. Delivery company came, set-up done very well. Except delivered incorrect headboard, wrong style & fabric.Customer service did there best to solve our problems. So cooperate offices let’s figure it out.Disappointed customer

Really surprised to see all these one-star reviews. Pottery Barn has been GREAT for me. I wasn't happy with an item I purchased once it was in hand, and despite it being a made-to-order item, and well beyond their normal return window anyhow, due to extenuating circumstances they agreed to allow the return. I have been a life-long customer, and given their commitment to sustainability and style, and with this kind of service, they are the first place I go for housewares and furnishings.

I ordered a fairly expensive blanket for a former teacher of mine. While I was ordering the gift I check the box that said “this is a gift”, and I paid extra to have it wrapped. I was very disappointed when she opened the gifted and the price tag was still on it. This is very embarrassing and tacky to me. The point of the gift was not to show her how much more I spent on her. I was very frustrated by this sense I had paid extra for the gift wrapping and clearly stated this “this is a gift.” Next time I’ll save myself the money and the trouble and wrap it myself.

My wife and I have been fans of Pottery Barn furniture for years, but it was always out of our budget. We finally had a portion of our house remodeled and decided to purchase our farmhouse table from Pottery Barn. The reviews we read made us nervous, but the table was delivered and we could not be happier! The quality is excellent and this is truly a show-stopping piece at the center of our home. We have since ordered barstools and a coffee table as well and are very pleased with all of those pieces. We will be ordering again!

I ordered a bed spread on the 1rst and had it on the 4th. That's pretty impressive. I was also pleased with the accuracy of pictures and description. That's important when there are color choices for an item.

Shipping estimates are grossly inaccurate. They state one thing - you ordered and then weeks later - they tell you it's backordered. The Seagrass collection - splinters!!! And makes tiny tiny splinters in your hands and legs. They did send someone promptly to pick them up and credit.
