this is my absolute favorite store, i mainly go to the BYO pc section in the back and the staff have always been very patient and kind when helping me buy parts to build a gaming pc. i went to the paterson store with no idea what i was doing about a year and a half ago, and at this point i know more about building pc’s than most people. that's strictly due to the help of the specialists at the three micro center locations i’ve been to (queens, brooklyn, nj), who are still light years ahead of me.the BYO staff at each of the stores i’ve visited have been equally professional, easy to talk to, and willing to spend as much time as needed to answer my questions— even going so far as to look up videos on youtube to help me better understand what they were talking about. i usually buy the protection plans as well, and i have never had an issue going in for help with a product or trying to return something within the 15- or 30-day window.i’ve had pickup orders placed online partially or fully refunded because of low inventory, and i know that the gpu situation is an absolute nightmare wherever you go, but i wouldn’t shop anywhere else. i’ve tried b&h and adorama in manhattan and i’ve ordered parts from newegg, but mc is in a league of its own when it comes to after-purchase customer service. i’ll shop here any chance i can get, if for no other reason than the incredible resource that is the BYO staff.

I shop at Microcenter.com both at the online store and (lucky for me), the nearby North Jersey / Paterson physical store. Shopping at the online store guarantees that you can get the product that you want (once it's in your cart). You can go crazy at the physical store because there are specials that may not be available online. For me, I love microcenter because they have a large inventory of products for hobby electronics and maker projects (eg. project boards, 3d printer & supplies, motors, ICs, tools, parts galore, etc). I've only experienced great customer service, and bargain/competitive prices. This is what you'd expect from a well-run US-based etailer with a brick-and-mortar store.

Micro center is one of the best places to buy anything computer related, the customer service is amazing and the people who work there are going to give you the actual truth and not just marketing. A lot of people here are complaining about the repair but all of that really isn't micro center's fault-- they need to order parts from the people who made the pc which is often time consuming and the companies are terrible. Micro center is genuinely amazing, go there if you need something tech related and you will find it.

They have everything!Went into a couple of their stores. Always fun to browse what they have. So many tech items. Lot of fun.

I recently got one of my computers from them and they were very fairly priced, no complaints from me other than the far travel distance!

They have great products at a great price. They offer a replacement plan, I use it on my USB cables. I was going through them in about 3 to 4 weeks, not I only have to pay the $2 warranty replacement plan every time I replace them.

Micro Center has GREAT DEALS on all things computer, cell, cords, chargers, gaming, ink, etc... Anything you need for the geek in you, they have with great deal to boot. I go to store about 4-5 times a month. Not once was anyone not helpful or rude to me. St. Louis Park, Minnesota location.
